A menu that appears when you right-click
When you right-click on something โ a file, a folder, or even the desktop โ a small list pops up. This is the right-click menu. It shows you useful actions for the exact thing you clicked on. It is like asking, 'What can I do with this?'
The menu changes depending on what you right-click. Right-clicking a photo shows photo options. Right-clicking the desktop shows desktop options.
Common useful options
- Copy โ makes a copy of the file so you can paste it somewhere else.
- Rename โ lets you type a new name for the file or folder.
- Delete โ sends the file to the Recycle Bin (you can get it back if needed).
- Properties โ shows details like the file size and the date it was made.
